Very large selection of items. Many top brand name outlets, plenty of places to stop for a drink, eat and relax. Modern theatres and an excellent electrical department. |

| Cons |
Few. The Siam Paragon department store is similar to all the others. Food hall gets crazy busy at lunch times. |

Overview - Most certainly the latest and greatest addition to the many shopping malls in Bangkok. The Siam Paragon, Bangkok has a lot to boast as it offers all manner of goods and shops not found elsewhere.
It has a huge Underwater World aquarium set on two stories and covers 10,000 Sq M. which houses 30,000 sea creatures. divided into 12 zones.
The layout is similar in style to most Central stores and Emporium in so much that there is the Siam Paragon department store
and then, in the area surrounding the department store, there is a plethora of individual, high quality, brand name shops.
Starting from the ground floor up, excluding the basement floors of the aquarium, we have the food hall where you can find pretty much anything you might fancy. Indian, Sandwiches, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese etc etc.
There are cake shops, bread shops, liquor stores, tea and coffee specialists, and a fairly good supermarket.
Moving up a level there are top quality jewelers, designers, home decor shops and much more. In fact, there is everything for everyone from kids to adults. Siam Paragon seems to have it all.
The electrical department is probably the largest around with a huge selection of TV, MP3s, mobile phones and all manner of house-hold electrical goods but it too fails to provide the Hi-Fi enthusiast any real choices. The Siam Paragon department store itself has a lot of TVs, DVD players, Home Theatre set ups but no real Hi-Fi components unless you like NAD. The shopping complex ( made up of individual, privately owned shops ) offers a few Hi-Fi specialist shops but these shops offer exceptionally expensive American branded items, with speakers standing up to 6 feet tall +.
Hi-Fi components are difficult to come by, especially if you like British Hi-FI.
Other shopping centres: Emporium, Discovery, Siam Centre Central World Plaza, SOGO Robinson, We also have MBK and Chatuchak Market and the failr new Lumpini Night Bazaar
